Stainless steel pipe fittings play a very important role in the installation of stainless steel pipe fittings and have a very important usage effect. But if it is used improperly and sometimes bubbles appear, how should it be handled?

(1) Flatten with an arc-shaped mold

The pipe wall is not broken, the foaming problem is not serious, and the diameter of the pipe is not large, which can be repaired by pressing molds (forging tools).

First, seal the pipe mouth tightly with a wooden stopper, grass rope, and torn cloth to prevent air flow inside the pipe from prolonging the heating time. Place the pipe on a semi-circular (with a radius slightly the same as the pipe radius) mold, with the bubbling area facing upwards. Heat the bubbling area to a red color with an air welding gun, and then place a pressure mold (with a radius the same as the pipe radius). Use a hammer to strike the top of the pressure mold hard while rotating the pipe, and the bubbling area will be pressed back to its original position. This is because the pipe is sandwiched between the mold and the pressure mold, forcing all bubbling areas to recover.

(2) Rolling tube

This method is suitable for pipes with small diameters, short lengths, and good straightness.

First, heat the bubbling area to a red color, then use two pieces of steel (with appropriate weight) - clamp the pipe in the middle with the upper and lower parts, hold the two corners of the steel plate with both hands and drag it back and forth. The pipe under the plate will roll along, and the bubbling area will be "rolled" back to its original position. This action is like a minister kneading Fried Dough Twists strips. The upper and lower pressing plates are like hands. The tubes are equal to Fried Dough Twists strips. The Fried Dough Twists strips will become thinner when the hands have proper pressure. Although the pipe cannot be rolled thin, the areas with bubbles (which are red) will never exist.

Local bubbling of the pipe wall can occur due to factors such as flame erosion, uneven heating, improper operation measures, and expansion caused by water freezing. Now the relevant solutions have been shared with everyone, and you can choose a more suitable solution based on the actual situation.
